Great recap, once again.  I couldn't keep up with all of that if I tried.

You labeled the last area "Eastside" and I'm sure you meant "Westside".

Maybe I'm missing the name, but did you include the small residential project under construction at Rosedale and Jerome across from Midtown?

Writing a lot down as it happens helps for sure.

Fixed, thanks!

That is the Magnolia @ Rosedale building

Gotcha.  I wasn't looking for it under completed projects.

Thanks for posting these lists for another year.  You are obviously our new construction guy.

I note that "public market restoration" is on the list for 2017 and beyond.  I wish I could be as sanguine about this building's prospects, but the present location's motor vehicle access and parking problems are insurmountable obstacles, in my opinion.  Just an observation about the list itself...more discussion of the public market is in another thread

Just noticed there was no mention of any projects in the Northside/Stockyards area. I'm not sure if you combine it with Panther Island since it is on the Northside.

You have the Courtyard hotel currently under construction, the stockyards remake, the Swift ruins mixed use and clean up. Relocation and renovation for "Into the west", future plans for the Wedge building and also the Tex Rail station near the stockyards. I think those are the only significant items of note.

Also, in the West 7th area you have America Gardens and Bar 2909. Both currently under construction on Morton St.

Any potential for projects the height or greater of the Frost Tower project in 2017-2019?

The closest thing would be the 22 story Residence Inn but there's not a lot of information on that.  A new convention center hotel would likely be very large but years away.

Here's a list of some of the taller buildings being worked on.

Yes, the Residence Inn at the northeast corner of 8th and Houston is the closest thing in height to the new Frost Tower that is proposed.  However, we don't know that this hotel will be built.  An existing turn-of-the-century office building is currently on the site and there doesn't appear to be any parking provided.
