Snow Day today here in SW Fort Worth.

Yup..made a snowperson before I left for work. Slippery roads out there, be careful.

iPhone shot from this morning. Rode my bike over to Paul's Donuts to grab some breakfast, took this next to Fairmount Park. It's much snowier now.

Took a walk later in the day for a late lunch. Walked up and down Magnolia here in the Near Southside, enjoying the snow.

Walking around from 3pm to 5:30pm this evening, after coming home from work early.
Got to snowing pretty hard. Got nervous about my camera being wet. Seems to be OK. Was tricky at times and had to go to a manual focus as
the auto-focus was focusing on the large snow flakes 3 feet in front of the lens.

Those are great pictures from all of you. I'm kicking myself today because I had a big deadline at work and I forgot to take my camera. I usually carry one at all times.

For some reason, looking out from our balcony over the Trinity River bluffs, I keep hearing the theme song from Fargo play over and over in my head...

Great photos, folks! I too had to run out and take a few along historic Samuels Avenue. I'd post them here, but apologize for not knowing how. Anyways, here are the photos from my Flickr Pro account: http://www.flickr.co...57623410121640/

I didn't realize while photographing historic homes that the snow event itself was making history. I'm also glad such events around here are fairly rare. Let the snowbirds in Buffalo enjoy the white stuff!!

Brian, great photos. My wife gave me a 5D for Christmas. I would appreciate some tips from you on this camera.

Good thing we're investing so much in global warming and climate change!
