The 100+ year-old Italian Renaissance home of John C. Ryan (developer of Ryan Place) and later of Bert K. Smith (co-owner of Smith Brothers Grain Company) was recently remodeled (winning a preservation award from Historic Fort Worth). It is now on the market if you are sufficiently funded. Would be a good place to have form meetings. Just throwing that out there.

That is a gorgeous house. Check out the price history. With the exception of about 3 months last summer, it's been on the market since July of 2015 and the price has come down over 23%.

If it comes down another 90% maybe I'll take a flyer on it...

I have toured the house.  It is wonderful on the inside.
