Does anyone know anything about the former church building at 5001 El Campo? It's near the Camp Bowie intersection. Recently it has been everything from a nail spa to a florist. I looked on TAD and at one point (in the 1980s) it was listed as "White Settlement Church of God" I'm wondering when was it built and what kind of church was it originally.
Here's a link to the google map.

The former church building is not listed in the Tarrant County Historic Resources Survey as far as I know. I own the Fort Worth Near North Side and West Side / Westover Hills edition and that building is not among those listed on El Campo.
You might try the criss-cross directories at the downtown Fort Worth library. That could be a place to start.
