I wish the DDRB would have required the Omni to have some sort of silhouette lighting to keep the theme going.

Shoot, it would be great if they could just figure out how to light the glass crow's nest on top of the tower (hint: talk to the folks who designed the former Chesapeake / Pier One building.)

I'm not certain on this, but I'm assuming because it is residential that the lighting would have to be kept at a minimum as to not disturb the tenants.

The Tower's lighting changed significantly once it was converted to residential.

Frost is moving out of 777 Main soon, but UMB is moving into it's old space from their current location at 100 Lexington, they're taking the entire 5th floor and a large space on the ground level.

The announcement of the former Oncor Building going on the market mentions that Oncor itself is moving to 777 Main. At 200,000 sqft and seven floors, Oncor will become one of the largest tenants in the tower. https://fortworthbus...-on-the-market/

777 Main had seven floors of office space available?

Did the tower lose any companies lately? Did Frost occupy that much office space before moving across downtown?

I was surprised by that too. That's 1/5 of the whole building. I think XTO had space in the building, maybe filling in some of that?

Bank of Texas also recently moved into 777 but it was only 21k sqft.

my first thought reading that large number was to wonder if it was another typo. Wasn't there recently another announcement of some company moving into Frost Tower but the square footage quoted was like 90%+ of the total square footage of the entire building?

In addition to Frost Bank and XTO already mentioned above, Hallmark Financial Services moved out last year as part of their HQ relocation/consolidation.

No typo in that FWBP article on the size of the new Oncor space, unlike the headline for HNTB's new office covered in the Frost Tower thread

Wow. I did not realize XTO Energy had space in 777 Main.

This basically means that XTO's departure is resulting in yet another historic building being converted to hotel or residential (the Oncor Bldg.), even though XTO never owned it or had space in it.

Not a fan of how the bass tower lights are dotted lines rather than solid lines.

I've changed my opinion on the Bass Towers' dotted lighting now that most downtown towers have brighter LED lighting. I like the Bass Tower's dotted lights.

That said, with 777 Main's dotted lights being closer together than the Bass Towers' dotted lights, I kind of wish 777 Main's lights were solid lines of light.

I have always thought that 777 Main would look great with solid lights.

The Bass Tower lights fit with Sundance Suqare...

For 777 Main (and Burnett Plaza, for that matter), the lighting seriously needs to be more modernized... Like Frost.

When they built Cowtown Place, they also had space in the Fort Worth Club Building too.

XTO never consolidating and building a HQ on the Landmark lot is really one of the biggest missed opportunities of Fort Worth's history.

Oncor hopes to be in by Q1 2021.
