What an interesting past couple of days. Thunderstorms,  tons of rain, and ice and sleet just a bit north.

Add that to the near 80 degree high on Monday and highs approaching the 70s again this weekend.

Crazy.  But as is the refrain in north Texas:  "It's okay, we need the rain."

I checked and at least from a reservoir level perspective, we don't really need the rain.  But I want the ground to soak up as much as it can.

Funny- I just did a pre-recorded weather package for the student newscast on my campus tomorrow. Maybe I'll post it online tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately, I can't drive my mom's car to attend the newscast tomorrow. I'll take a bus and attend the forum meeting instead.

We had ice here in northern Fort Worth yesterday.

In Southern Fort Worth, it was just wet.  The coldest temperature that I saw at my house was 34 degrees.
