This is a neat idea. I've meet and spoke with the supervisor, just out of curiosity asking questions about how it's been going, and they've done a lot of help getting folks directions, keeping people feeling safe, etc.

I, too, think this is a great idea.  I remember back in 2010 when our area was a host to the Super Bowl I was one of the "Fort Worth Ambassadors" to represent the city in welcoming team members, their families, and other tourists to the city for their various Bowl-related celebrations.  We Ambassadors got to wear red jackets and caps (I still have mine).  Though we were almost snowed out that weekend, it was a lot of fun.
