Liberator Village was a government housing project south of the "Bomber Plant" in Fort Worth. It was for workers at the plant during WW II and after until the mid 1950s. It is all gone now, but you can get a book about it from the White Settlement Historic Museum.

Still at least one building standing, I think a daycare center on Wyatt Dr

The building is the offices of The Bomber News Paper. It is painted White. When the buildings were used for appartments they were called Reds or Bricks. One small building near Grants Lane it still there. I think it is part of the water system. It is painted gray

there is also a duplex off meadow park and gibbs that was once housing in liberator village. My grandmother and her children ( my dad and his siblings) lived there until they had to move due to demolition.

I would like to know where this house was. Do you have a photo. I do not remember any goverment building outside of the Village.

someone bought it and moved it years ago. That info came from my grandmother who has lived in and out of White Settlement for 70 years.
