Very clever. A robotic forklift drone that can carry a manned hummer or some other heavy payload.

It would be very cool if this drone was built in FW.

And the flight control software for the drone would originate from the F-35

When they started work on the F-35 they'd say its pilots hadn't been born yet.

Are the next drone pilots just now learning how to work a game console?

Lockheed already has a successful unmanned helicopter in Afghanistan called K-Max.  It's not the local Lockheed division, though.

Wow, Lockheed will now have a piece of all 4 sizes of FVL (Future Vertical Lift)

Light will likely use Sikorsky's counter rotating coaxial rotors with pusher propellor
Medium will likely use the same design
Heavy will use Bell's tiltrotor or Sikorsky's CH-53 being built for the marines
Ultra will use Bell's tiltrotor

Interesting aviation concept called LightningStrike
It uses tilt wing VTOL
24 Ducted fans are built INSIDE the wings and canards.
So the wings and canards tilt down for vertical lift, and later tilt towards the back for forward thrust.

F-16 Viper

The F-16 Block 70/72 variant, also known as the Viper, will become the base F-16 model. In addition to a reduced radar cross-section, Lockheed claims that the Viper’s estimated structural life is 50% greater than previous F-16s. Rather than tailor-making F-16s to buyers' demands, Lockheed hopes to streamline the contracting and production process by offering just one base model.
