Proposed on the former site of the Citizens theater, thread for that here.

New development is coming 2017 from Hatfield properties. Looks to be the usual apartments over retail, a good fit for Magnolia.

How many little Mexican places designed for Gringos can Magnolia stand?

FWBP has an article, the rendering looks a bit different and better IMO. The building will have 6 condos.

I like the building design, has variety to it.  Don't care for the facade's dark gray color...gloomy looking.  This artist drawing looks a bit different from the one Austin posted (Post#1) in this thread.   Height...is this compatible with the one-to-two story store fronts along both sides of Magnolia?  It certainly is a welcome change for Magnolia.

I'm beyond excited for this building. I'm even excited to know more about the condos. Are they for sale or lease?

I ate at Paco's Mexican Cuisine for breakfast (imo better than Benito's) on Magnolia today and finally got to see the progress Crimson has made. It seems to really tie things together with a nice two story on the opposite side of the street. Pretty excited to see the final product! I think Salsa limón will make an impact in their sales.

I saw it Friday during the forum lunch at Benito's. It's coming along pretty well. I noticed that the big windows and doors facing Magnolia have wood framing. Looking at the rendering I was thinking they were going to be a big storefront or curtain wall assembly, especially with some of the steel framing I saw go up initially. It's going to have a nice look either way.

I think it will fit in nicely when finished. All the balconies and rails will soften the scale of it in relation to Magnolia. Lots of glass at street level is very nice.

I sure wish the building further to the west on the corner would have engaged the street, even just a little bit. Maybe there will be a remodel there in the near future.

Waking up to it, this will be a perfect urban fit to MagAv.

Our Fort Worth Forum meeting was right across the street yesterday, and we all commented on the building.  Austin55 had a booth at Arts Goggle right in front of it on Saturday.  I have a good photograph that I took of the building construction at the end of September.

Does anyone know what happened to this building... it seems like work has come to a halt on this project unless most of the work is interior now, but I haven’t seen workers on this site for a while now.

More work is being done on the interior, now.  Every time that I pass by there during the day, there are construction workers present.  I will be on the lookout this week to see if anything has changed and I will report back, once I drive by the site.  Of course, if anyone passes by the place, take a look to observe if work is still progressing.

To upload photos, they have to be hosted at a website or photo hosting service.  You basically provide a link to the photo.

I don't live very far away, and I'm usually on Magnolia at least once every week.  However, I have not been on the street in a little over a week, when a bunch of us did a restaurant crawl.
