This is the month the stars go out of alignment and I won't make it.

There is a slim chance I might not be able to make it tomorrow.  I have some plumbing issues and the plumber is coming to my house to take a look between 8 and 10 in the morning.  He should be gone by 12, but you never know. I will keep everyone posted, if things don't work out.

I'm dealing with some plumbing issues as well. I still plan on making it.

Plumber has come and gone.  I will be there.  Since I'm coming from home, I should be there a little bit early.

I want to thank everyone who attended.  It was a fun and spirited discussion.  Austin55, pelligrini, PeopleAreStrange, Hipolyte, and I were in attendance.  The next forum meeting will be October 27th.  It's also a good thing we didn't go to Thistle Hill. There weren't any food trucks there today.

Yes, I enjoyed it too. I hope we didn't bore too many with the building code talk. ;)

I'm surprised that you all thought the discussion on building codes was interesting.  Most of my friends don't even want me to talk about architecture in general when I am around them.

It's coming up to the last Friday of the Month.  The Fort Worth Forum meeting will be this Friday, October 27 at 11:45.  We will meet at Benito's again, since the Food Park at Thistle Hill is not dependable, especially on Fridays.  Who is coming?

I unexpectedly have this Friday open so I’m hoping to make it. The one caveat is dependent on how my Mom’s medical procedure goes on Thursday.

If you are free, you should come, anyway.  I'm sure the people who are there would love to meet you.  Benito's is an authentic Mexican Restaurant (not Tex-Mex) located at 1450 W. Magnolia Ave.  Their phone number is 817-332-8633.  I think Benito's has been open since 1981, and I started going there about that time when I was in graduate school.

Rriojas71 and A_Random_Username, we looked for you yesterday but we didn't see you.  There were several people that came in looking around, but they found their parties.  There were five of us there and we were almost in the northeast corner of the restaurant.  We were one table away from the east wall and the booths on the north wall were next to us.  It was a nice discussion on some of the recent construction announcements.

Sorry I wasn’t able to make it. I had to stay with my Mom after her procedure on Thursday. Hopefully I will be able to for the next one.

We certainly understand.  We meet on the last Friday of every month, except during the holidays.  Those are coming up so I would like to suggest that we come up with a Friday where we can all meet for both November and December.  I would like to only meet once during those two months.  I'm always open to meeting more often, but usually most people are busy between Thanksgiving and New Years, so it works out better that we only meet once during those two months.

My schedule was changed literally as I was heading out of the door. Lost a prep guy and since I'm the only other one that knows the prep station i had to fill in. As of now I will be in fridays from 11am to 3pm (though i could aqueese out at 1pm) then back at 6pm to close. Sorry about that everyone, I should have mentioned something sooner, nust slipped my mind.

I'm free for lunch on any day for the next two weeks, if anyone wants to have a Forum Meeting before the end of the year.  We will still eat at Benito's, unless someone wants to meet for dinner or a lunch elsewhere on one of the weekends.  However, I do ask that we get a consensus very quickly, so we can get the word out to other forum members or guests.
