Off the top of my head, the only ones I can think of are the obvious Davis mansion on Stonegate, and the Clark house on Winton Terrace.

The murder of Karen Koslow in the early or mid 90's took place in a relatively newer home in River Crest. Everyone suspected her husband, but it turned out that her daughter, a senior at AHHS, had promised two friends part of her inheritance to kill her step-mom. They're all spending the rest of their lives in jail.
Haunted places:
Fort Worth - Red Lobster on Hulen St. - Mainly seen in the kitchen a ghost of a girl likes to tease the cooks. At night employees have seen her walking the restaurant.
_______________________________________________
Fort Worth - Lake Worth - Witnesses say at night you can see a woman out on a boat looking for her lost children with a lantern. I know right where this area is at and it feels "evil" to begin with.
_______________________________________________
Fort Worth - Old Opera House - Some people have said that the Opera House right out side of Fort Worth is haunted. They don't know who it is but some people have said that you can hear screaming every once in a while
_______________________________________________
Fort Worth-Peters Bros. Hats 909 Houston
The ghost of Tom Peters moves hats around. When they acquired the space of the former pizzeria, they may have acquired the ghost of the dishwasher, Jack Martin. Jack would baptize new employees with a good spray from the dishwasher.
_______________________________________________
Fort Worth-Castleberry High School
Students say that the building was built on an old Indian burial ground. According to the rumor, if you go up the flight of steps that leads to the roof, you will hear voices that do not belong to anyone living.
_______________________________________________
Fort Worth-Barbers Bookstore
Ghostly footsteps. Sounds of pages being turned, strange shadows on staircase and an apparition on the second floor are also reported. Building is now an antique store. The current owners are very open about the ghost and are willing to let people in to "look" for the apparition.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth Stockyards- General Store
In the Ft. Worth Stockyards - sister store of the Maverick. The first floors have been remodeled, but the second floor is the same as it was a hundred years ago. NOTE: Nearly every building in the Stockyards has a ghost story.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth Stockyards- The Maverick
A ghostly woman leaves roses upstairs.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth Stockyards - Miss Molly's
This former bordello has had a few apparitions spotted within its walls.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth Stockyards - Spaghetti Warehouse
Haunted by at least 4 separate ghost. A small girl in the bathroom that turns on water, flushes toilets, and scatters paper towels. A woman in white that can be seen on the balcony late at night. A old cowboy, that throws glasses and knocks over stools. The third floor is haunted by a woman who was killed during a fire. You can still see the fire marks.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth - Thistle Hill
Two apparitions have been reported - a lady in white appears on the grand staircase, and a gentleman wearing tennis clothes shows up at the top of the stairs. Music has been heard coming from the ballroom, and ghostly voices have been heard as well.
_______________________________________________
Fort Worth - Scott Theatre -
A janitor apparently hanged himself from a pipe in the basement of this theater. His ghost seems to spend most of time in the strange corridor filled basement where he died. A wardrobe woman was so frightened one night by cackling coming from the stage, that she left and never returned.
_______________________________________________
Ft. Worth-Del Frisco's Steakhouse-
The downstairs banquet room/wine cellar is haunted. In the 1800's, this area of Ft. Worth was known as "Hell's Half Acre" because of its numerous saloons, brothels and gambling halls. The building that now is home to Del Frisco's Steakhouse was a bathhouse. A man was bathing when he was shot in the back of his head. The spirit roams from the banquet room to the upstairs bar and back again.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth- Jett Building Downtown
Currently houses "Jamba Juice". Footsteps have been heard on the upper floors.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth- Log Cabin Village
Over-powering presences in an upstairs bedroom, the smell of lilacs, and a female apparition have been reported in the Foster Cabin.
_______________________________________________
Ft Worth- Mistletoe Heights Home
A singing female spirit in an ivory blouse has been reported here.

That place is what I meant by Joe's place. Joe, the current owner of Peters Bros. Hats. Great guy to know and he will tell you the story and why it is a blessing.

That is where the Downtown Market people will be happy to show you the floor. They have seen or heard it before. Another great family business to know in DTFW.

Corner of IH 20 & Hulen? Are you talking about Coco's (now Denny's)? The restaurant where Cullen Davis supposedly met with his hitmen to set up the murder plot.
And where he was arrested by the FBI on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder by hire. The father of a guy I went to high school with was the arresting agent.

There is, of course, the OD Stevens house, 30 and Eastchase I believe. It has been talked about many times on the forum and is now a day care, but still an interesting history.
What happened there?
Edited to add: Ack! Nevermind, I found a thread about it here:

A downtown bar called "The Cellar" became very infamous back in the 60's when JFK's Secret Service body guards drank there till dawn the night before he was killed in Dallas. The Cellar was the home of Ft Worth counter culture and rock music scene until the mid seventies when the FW police dept. decided it was time to crack down on the goings on at the club. constant harrassment the local federales ran off the customers and the owner (Pat Kirkwood) was forced to shut the doors in the mid-seventies.

The Cellar, which was at 1111 Houston Street (I think) was also where George Carlin and his partner Jack Burns developed their comedy act while they were still employees of KXOL.
George told me that they "served vodka in coffee cups" *wink wink*. When their boss, Earle Fletcher, found out; he was outraged that his employees were hanging out at "such a sleezy joint".

Perhaps a more infamous location is the intersection of Samuels Av. and NE 12th St. where a hackberry tree once grew that was the scene of the last public lynching in Fort Worth. In 1921 Fred Rouse, a black man, was abducted from the county hospital by a mob after being severely beaten by a mob after he crossed a picket line and wounded two white men during a labor action at the Swift plant. He was hung in the tree and his body desecrated by the crowd. Three days after the murder the tree was chopped down. The Tarrant grand jury failed to return an indictment even though many people were witnesses to the events. This link contains more information from the Knight-Ridder organization, parent company to the Star-Telegram (as of today anyway)

What's that about George Carlin?
From 1959-1960, George Carlin was an employee of KXOL radio (then located at 3004 W. Lancaster) as a DJ. His friend and former co worker from a radio station in Louisiana (Jack Burns) worked at KXOL as well doing News in the evening.
The two of them desided that a career in comedy might be more rewarding that radio. They started writting comedy and performed their act at the Cellar Club (a club that was on the norther end of Hell's Half Acre).
Long story short, Carlin and Burns left Ft. Worth to take a job on KDAY in Los Angeles during the day, and did stand up at night. in October 1960, Carlin and Burns appeard on The Tonight Show. The rest is history.

This may be a little too obvious, and perhaps more "famous" rather than infamous, but no one has yet mentioned the last "street gunfight" on Exchange Av. between "Longhair" Jim Courtright and Luke Short, memorialized and comercialized at the White Elephant Saloon.
Keep in mind, however that the gunfight actually took place I believe in the 200 block of Main in Downtown, where the ORIGINAL White Elephant was. When the White Elephant was opened in The Stockyards, they brought the gunfight with them . There's a plaque out there commemorating the event. Isn't the anniversary of it coming up? Seems like it's in February, I always intend to go see the reenactment, but have never made it. Time for me to do some Google-ing instead of rambling.

Missed it by that much.
"At the legendary White Elephant Saloon, named one of the Top 100 Bars in America by Esquire magazine, live country music is performed seven nights a week. And the famous 1887 gunfight between the White Elephant's owner Luke Short and T.I. "Long Hair Jim" Courtwright (a former marshal) is re-enacted on February 8 each year."

You were also very close on the original location, in the 300 block of Main downtown, and later moved to the 600 block. Here is a link to the saloon's history; pretty interesting, should be required for any true student of Fort Worth history.

Wow when I read this i got chills down my spine! here is why.
Three weeks ago a friend of mine told me the building was for sale. I was interested and asked him to set up a time to tour the building. He proceeded to call the listing agent who is located in Dallas. The listing agent told him " I am not going in that building ever again, its haunted" My friend laughed and said he needed to show me the building. The agent flatly refused to go into the building so he said he would mail the key to us. I was suprised the a broker would mail us a key from Dallas.
Two days later a key showed up via fed ex. I wasnt able to see the bulding for a few days so my friend kept the key. He proceeded to tell some friends the story and as guys are they mustered some courage and met down there to tour the building without me.
The next day he came to drop the key to me refusing to go back into the building. He explained the story about the listing agent. When I asked him what he saw he said "nothing" I laughed asking what the big deal was and he said they went into the building and to the old kitchen. neither he or his friends saw anything however stated that the worst feeling ever came over them. It was so evil they left and wouldnt even go back with me to see the building.
I still have the key yet havent gone to see it... I guess I cant see purchasing a building to restore if its that scary especially at the price they are asking.
