Back in the mid to late '50's, I remember the only Sears store with their normal array of merchandise was in Arlington. Before the Sears opened at the Seminary South Shopping Center in the early '60's, Sears only had a small catalog office in FTW where you could go to order something, but as I recall they had very little, if any, merchandise. I'm trying to remember where the big Sears store was in Arlington at that time, and I think it was right up the street from a drive-in theater. Our family used to go to that Sears store occasionally to actually look at an item before buying it.

Does anyone here on this forum remember where it was?
