This five story brick and granite courthouse houses Tarrant County's Family Courts facilities. It was designed by David M. Schwarz of Washington, D.C. with Gideon Toal of Fort Worth as Associate Architects. The materials used on the building compliments the materials of the historic Tarrant County Courthouse diagonally across Weatherford Street. The materials of the building are pink granite and red brick. The height of the building was also kept as low as possible to preserve views of the tower and dome of the courthouse.
