This International Style influenced school features a variety of materials and colors. The main part of the building uses orange and yellow brick with green glazed brick on the west elevation of the auditorium. Below the windows are exposed aggregate concrete panels, and the entry is clad with ceramic tile. The portion of the building fronting Mims St. is one story and the wing facing Norma St. is two stories. The freestanding gym was constructed in 1979 in the rear of the school and the 2003 addition on the east side of the school is two stories. The 2018 addition involved expansion of the cafeteria and kitchen.
