This was the first purpose-built structure for what was then the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the intersection of Camp Bowie Blvd. and Montomgery Street. It was located just to the east of the Osteopathic Medical Center of Fort Worth (Demolished 2008). The building is constructed of pre-cast concrete, and was one of the first buildings in the city completely designed and constructed in this manner. It opened on August 12, 1978. The school later changed their name to the University of North Texas Health Science Center. The building was also renamed in honor of Dr. Carl E. Everett. Over the years, the campus has expanded with other buildings constructed on the campus. Eventually, the University purchased the old Osteopathic Medical Center and they expanded to the west across Montgomery Street.
