Botanic Garden Center and Conservatory

The garden center was designed by Hahnfeld Associates, (now Hahnfeld, Hoffer, Stanford) as headquarters for the Botanical Gardens.  The building is linear in plan with one end anchored by the Conservatory and the other anchored by an auditorium.  The facility also has meeting rooms of various sizes that are offered to community groups and individuals for rent.  A catering kitchen is provided and the smaller meeting rooms have kitchenettes.  The Conservatory was designed to house tropical plant displays in a climate controlled environment.  It is approximately 10,000 square feet in size.  The overall building is 28,000 square feet.
