The Botanical Research Institute of Texas is a non-profit, international, plant research and learning center focused on conservation and knowledge sharing. They are the only independent, botanical research organization in the United States to provide publicly accessible resources. As such, they offer a world-class collection of plants and books, lectures, workshops, programs, and publications.
Founded in 1987, BRIT’s mission and passion is twofold: to conserve the earth’s botanical heritage and to increase public understanding of the value that plants bring to our lives.
