The Center for Bio Health was designed by Carter+Burgess as a departure from the remainder of the University of North Texas Health Science Center campus. The front sections of the building facing Camp Bowie Blvd. are clad in metal panel, while the remainder of the building is clad with concrete panels, similar to the remainder of the campus. The exposed ventilation stacks on the roof of the building help to highlight the west facade. The ground floor is mostly glass and appears to have a more "retail" looking appearance where it faces Camp Bowie. The six story building sits where smaller, local retail buildings once stood.
